Rajaram graduated from University of Curtin, Australia obtaining a professional membership with National Institute of Accountant of Australia. He also holds an MBA degree from Heriot -Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland. He is also an Associate member of International Accountant Body from England UK. Members of both Professional National Institute of Accountant of Australia and Associate member of International Accountant are eligible to be a company auditor.
He started his career as an auditor with a medium sized audit firm, Goonting and Chew and Price Water House as contractual staff since 1988 at Kuala Lumpur. He performed statutory audits, Investigative audits, preparation of accounts and handled taxation matters.
His experience in commercial sectors span over a six year period and involves Public listed firms and Private Limited Companies where he was responsible for preparation of financial management reports and handling of forex transactions.
He started his lecturing career 1993 with Stamford College Group, Regent School of Economics and subsequently worked for Brick fields Asia College, ATC College, University of Technology Mara, Asia e University, City University, Peninsula College and Segi University.
He has the experience of lecturing accountancy courses for partnership universities such as University of New England, Southern Cross University, Ballarat University, Nottingham Trent University, University of Greenwich, University of Gloucester, University of Wales and Upper Iowa University.
During his academic career he lectured and prepared students for professional accountancy courses such as ACCA (UK), CIMA (UK), AIA (UK), CPA (Aust).
